A number of significant events have recently taken place at Callahan, McCune & Willis, APLC. During 2005 we celebrated our 30th anniversary and opened an additional office in Fresno, with the result that we now have attorneys available in every region of California. In addition, as part of our commitment to provide comprehensive legal services, we have expanded our complex litigation department to address the specialized issues relative to the increasing number of class actions and representative actions.

Although we have many skilled litigators, we are pleased to announce that fellow attorneys and judges again recognized founding partner, Pete Callahan, as one of Orange County’s fifty outstanding lawyers, a designation that is afforded to less than one-third of one-percent of Orange County’s attorneys. Pete recently also received the St. Thomas More Society Lawyer of the Year Award, was featured on the cover of “Verdict” and was awarded the prestigious George of Francis Civility Award by the Orange County Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates. In addition, not only has the statewide Daily Journal included Pete in its profile of the top one hundred lawyers in the entire state of California, but the Roman Catholic Diocese of Orange has announced that the Vatican has recognized him with a papal knighthood in October of 2005.

None of these individual or firm accomplishments would have been possible, however, without the confidence and continued support of our many long term clients throughout the state and we very much look forward to providing legal services to them for many more years.
